Nothing says Halloween like "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown." The quality of the limited animation in that holiday special still astounds me.

Animation happenings this week include ASIFA East's free screening Tuesday night of the British Animation Awards reel at SVA at 7 pm (209 East 23rd St amphitheatre).
On Friday November 3 at the BAM Cinema there is a screening of Czech stop-motion master Jan Svankmajer's "Lunacy" including a Q&A with the filmmaker.

I just watched that recently. Snoopy is super cute!
I have the Peanuts Holiday Collection on dvd at home. Peanuts allways manages to cheer me up.
