Here are the original watercolors I did as promotional buttons for my vegetarian webcomic, Cooking Up Comics. The final art for the comic has evolved into a different style, but I still really like the watercolors, so I thought I'd post them. I'll be posting the rest through next week.

Last of the life drawings for now

I enjoy figure drawing class, but I understand if other people get bored looking at all the nudes that have been covering the blog for a while. Part of the reason that I haven't been posting more than the occasional sketchbook doodle is because I've been toiling away on a secret project. I'm creating a vegetarian web comic and I'm happy to say it's much closer to launch date! Keep an eye out for a post next week.

I took a stroll through the garden a few weeks back when the cherry blossoms were just in bloom. I spent about an hour on this watercolor while sitting on a park bench.
