Happy New Year!

As a drawing exercise, I've decided I'll be doing a one panel journal comic at the end of each day. Since 4 panels fit on a sketchbook page, I'll be doing an update about every 4 days of the previous 4 days. I still plan to update with a backlog of December sketches as well, so keep checking back!

And of course once I sliced them all up into single panels, I figured I'd spend a few minutes to see if I wanted to color them...and here's the result 2.5 hours later. Can't guarantee I'll be coloring all of them, but I thought it might be an interesting change of pace from the black and white world.

It's true about Germany. I used to go with my step mom in to the village with baskets actually to carry fresh bread back to the house.

They also have a bread car that stops on the streets every other morning to deliver fresh bread.

That's so cool Bonnie! I wish there was a bakery near me that sold actual bread and not just pastries.
