I spent the afternoon in Central Park saving a spot for our group for La Traviata. I did 7 whopping pages in my medium sketchbook. Lots of good people watching!
Last night I went to the Cirus Contraption Traveling Dime Museum downtown. It was pretty awesome and a bit creepy for feeling like you've been transported to an old-timey sideshow. The cast was incredibly multi-talented and fascinating. I did this as a gift for my friend Gina's birthday, inspired by the performance last night.
Today I realized that I miss my hour commute into the city when I'm working from home. So I had a sketch frenzy on the train and here are 2 pages of what came out of my pen.
Did a lot of sketches in my new mini-Moleskine. Here is a highway sketch from my trip to Siggraph Boston. On Monday Allan and I found a great little tea shop called Tealuxe in Harvard Square and drew for a bit there.
