Flushing Meadows

A few more from the dragon boat races a few weekends ago. I'm heading back to PA this weekend and am looking forward to getting some sketching done there.

One of my roommates from college had her second child recently so I sent her the original watercolor.

Drawing class is over for now...

...but I still have a backlog of drawings to post! These were some 3-4 minute poses from a few weeks back. I got to hang out with some old work buddies and watch some new cartoons from the NY animation scene on Wednesday night. Good times.

Dragon Boats

Last Saturday Allan and I went with some friends to Flushing Meadows to watch the Dragon Boat Races. There were a lot of kids flying kites in a field where we stopped to eat lunch.

Harvey's Lake

Allan and I spent the weekend visiting family in PA. I haven't been out on the lake since I was a kid, and of course I forgot to bring a pen. Luckily I had my watercolors and brushpen so I was able to do some studies from the boat.
