Sketchcrawl #30
It was pretty cold on Saturday, but I braved the cold and so did about 12 other sketchers in NYC. We drew at the Met, ate an overpriced lunch in the cafeteria and swapped sketchbooks. Thanks for coming out everyone! I'll post a second entry with the rest of my drawings next week. I'll also have another journal comic up this week, but it may be on Friday instead of Wednesday so I'll have time to color it. I'm a busy bee.

January Journal Comic part 5
Wow! Well this week was pretty busy, but I still managed to color my daily comics. It's been a fun experiment so far. Editing my days down to one panel and three lines of text has been fairly challenging.

Happy New Year!
As a drawing exercise, I've decided I'll be doing a one panel journal comic at the end of each day. Since 4 panels fit on a sketchbook page, I'll be doing an update about every 4 days of the previous 4 days. I still plan to update with a backlog of December sketches as well, so keep checking back!
And of course once I sliced them all up into single panels, I figured I'd spend a few minutes to see if I wanted to color them...and here's the result 2.5 hours later. Can't guarantee I'll be coloring all of them, but I thought it might be an interesting change of pace from the black and white world.
