I'm excited to visit Colorado for the first time to exhibit at DiNK Denver on April 13th and 14th! I'll be at table 244 on the second floor of the McNichols Civic Center Building Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday 11 am to 6 pm. Come say hi!
Here's a handy map:
The latest member of my cute veggie sticker family arrived. Say hello to sweet potato!
I will also have issues 1-6 of Urban Nomad, Cooking Up Comics, a variety of mini zines and The Collected Counter Attack!

Underground Heroes: New York Transit in Comics
Several of my comic pages from Urban Nomad, including two issue covers, are included in the exhibit "Underground Heroes: New York Transit in Comics" at the New York Transit Museum. Located in a decommissioned subway station at 99 Schermerhorn St. in Brooklyn, the Transit Museum contains decades of subway cars complete with vintage advertising as well as station signage. This show contains an excellent collection of transit history in comics and I'm so thrilled to have my work included alongside artists like Roz Chast and Windsor McKay!
Print Mag has some great photos and insights with exhibit curator Jodi Shapiro. I also spoke briefly with the Brooklyn Paper shortly after the exhibit opened.
Here are a few photos from the opening reception in June 2018. The show has been extended through April 7, 2019 so there is still some time to check it out.

Red Envelope Show at Flushing Town Hall
It's the closing weekend of the Red Envelope Show at Flushing Town Hall. The closing party will be on Sunday January 11th from 3pm-5pm. The show pays homage to the red envelopes which are gifted by the Chinese community during the Lunar New Year. Each envelope was designed by local and international artists, community members, school children and retirees.
You can see my pieces (the Japanese Maple and Sugar Maple leaves on the bottom row in the first photo) and the rest of those still available for sale at the Grumpy Bert website. Part of the sale of each envelope go to Flushing Town Hall, my local arts center in Queens. My envelopes, and many of the others in the show, have a mystery gift inside!
Here are some photos from the opening party on January 5th. Happy Year of the Pig!
